Girls Football

The girls football team had a very successful outing against Monkstown on Thursday. The game was played in glorious sunshine and was very entertaining. There were some great scores from both sides. The girls have a seven a side blitz coming up and based on this performance we’re hoping for some good results.

Mrs Barry has been putting in a great deal of work maintaining the school garden. This term the garden has been divided into the following sections, Mediterranean Garden, Herbs, Kitchen Garden and Fruit Garden. She has taken some children from each class to help when her infant class goes home.

Holy Communion

Congratulations to the children in rang 2 who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday. It was a wonderful prayerful ceremony with all the children actively involved.
