We congratulate the Shamrocks under 11 team who won the John Kerins Memorial U11 football competition in Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday last. We are delighted that seventeen of the panel are pupils of our school. Also the team selection committee, Andrew O Grady and Mark Hitchmough are past-pupils of Shanbally NS.
Captain, Eoin O’Flynn was presented with the trophy after the final game on Saturday . All seventeen boys visited every class in the school this week, to show the trophy and winning medals to the other pupils. We are very proud of the boys and hope that they will continue to be successful on the playing field.
