The boys and girls in 5th and 6th joined the Confirmation class from Ringaskiddy N.S. on Friday for their retreat to Gougaune Barra. We began the day by admiring the beautiful scenery and learning about the history of St. Finbarr. As we sat in the small Oratory we listened to Fr. Sean and Fr. Con reflect on the true meaning of Confirmation before finishing with a few songs. On the journey home, the children enjoyed a hot meal in Inchigeela before stopping in Farran woods for a fun walk and time in the playground. It really was a truly memorable day.
