To celebrate Engineers week 2014, the children from 3rd to 6th classes were treated with a special visit from local Engineer Mick O’ Donovan. He taught us about the many different types of engineers and gave us an insight into a typical days work for such a profession. Each class then took part in a very hands-on and creative workshop which entailed building rockets and other exciting activities. A big thank you to Mick for such an exciting and memorable day.
