Shanbally N.S. had a fantastic Water Saftey Talk with Marianne Cotter on Monday last as part of our Active School Week. All classes went to the hall for a very informative presentation on safety tips around water to ensure all people have a fantastic and safe summer. All children learned about the SAFE code.
Spot – Spot the danger; look for dangers whenever you’re near water
Advice – Take Advice; Read the signs and ask lifeguards and adults
Friends – Go with a friend; Always go with friends or family
Emergency – Learn what to do in an emergency; Call 999 and shout for help
