The Annual Fourth Class “Conker Tournament” is getting very exciting these days. Everybody in 4th Class was happy to take part. Kevin and Livvy both moved into the Second Round , having played against each other for almost a month!! They were both extremely skillful and it impossible to break the tie. The conker games usually take place during lunch break, watched closely by the referees. Conker Tournaments were very popular in the olden days in school playgrounds and they still take place in several schools and villages in Great Britain and some areas in Ireland, in the present day. We hope to play the quarter-finals during the coming week. Let’s hope the conkers will stay in good shape to give us another few exciting games!!
