Dear Parents,

  • I would like to acknowledge again the huge commitment the staff and children in preparing for last night’s Nativity “A Miracle in Town”.  It reflects positively the passion, enthusiasm and interest within the school. The efforts last night and for 2016 are greatly appreciated by all.
  • Thanks again to Fr. Sean and Fr. Con for their cooperation and help during the year.
  • Thanks to the Parents Association for the lovely floral displays in the church.
  • I wish to express my sincere gratitude on behalf of the staff to the parents/ grandparents and extended families who work in tandem with us, during the year.

  • Feedback was very positive from parents in relation to the proposed before/after school care for children in the school. Our Board of Management, at their recent meeting, agreed in principle with the proposal. The next step is for certain aspects of the proposal to be clarified to the Board in early January. Then, the full details will be presented to parents to begin the process of registering/booking for September 2017.
  • Thanks to the Parents Association for organising Santa to come to the school today. Thanks to our senior classes for accompanying our younger classes to the Halla.
  • A reminder that we finish school early next Thursday at 11.45 for Junior/Senior Infants and their siblings and 12 for the rest of the school. We return to school on Monday January 9th.

Thank you,

With best wishes for a happy and safe Christmas.
