carol service Dec 2014 Important Notes for Parents:
- We are rehearsing for our Christmas Carols Service at the moment. This is to be held in Shanbally Church on Wednesday December 17th at 7pm. On the night, Junior and Senior Infants dress as shepherds or angels. Please ask class teachers if you need suggestions for suitable attire. Images of previous shepherds and angels are below. All other children are to wear their full school uniform and a Santa hat (if you have one!) unless otherwise instructed by their teacher.
- A reminder of the Shanbally NS Parents Association Bazaar on Sunday 7th in Fernhill from 2pm. A craft from your child will be available for you to purchase as well as the usual bric-a- brac, books, cakes, sports equipment etc. There will also be a raffle for lots of prizes donated by local suppliers as well as from many parents in the school. Fernhill have requested that all children remain indoors and under their parents’ supervision from a safety point of view. This event is shaping up to be a great fun event. All credit due to the wonderful Parents Association and their volunteers.
- Fr. Sean has asked us to let parents know that there will be a Children’s Mass on December 24th in Shanbally Church followed by Christmas Eve Mass at 8pm.
- A reminder that we close early on Friday 19th December for the Christmas Holidays: Juniors, Seniors and siblings at 11.45 and the rest of the school at 12 noon. We are back again on Monday January 5th.
