Congratulations to the boys and girls of Rang 5 and Rang 6 who received the sacrament of Confirmation in Shanbally Church yesterday. The pupils really were a credit to themselves, their families and their school. Thanks to all who helped with the ceremony especially Ms O Mahony, Ms Moran, Mary and Pat who prepared the children for Confirmation. Special mention also has to go to Ms O Connell for doing such great work with the choir. Thanks to our local priests Fr Con and Fr Sean for their assistance and guidance and also for arranging such a wonderful retreat recently. Finally huge thanks to our hardworking Parents association and Mr Nolan for organising a great disco in Fernhill last night and more treats at school today. It truly was a day that the children will remember from their years in primary school.
