Unfortunately our hopes of progressing in Sciath na Scol hurling came to an end today in Cobh GAA grounds. Even though we battled hard we came up against superior opposition in the form of G.S Cobh and Bartlemy – two exceptionally good hurling sides. Our team played to their potential for most of both games and showed great heart and determination. We were very proud of the effort and teamwork on display. Thanks to all the players and parents who helped out this season and we would encourage our players to continue to hurl at home or with your clubs. We were also missing the services of Jody, Ivan and Sean today and we wish the three lads speedy recoveries. Finally thanks a million to Frank Van Pelt who took some excellent action shots at the game today they are well worth checking out!!
