Dear Parents,
Just a few items as we head towards the Christmas holidays.
- Our Christmas Mass for all classes takes place on Wednesday in Shanbally Church at 11am. While space is limited parents are welcome to attend.
- Please note that our 6th Class are invited to participate in a Crib Service which takes place on Christmas Eve at 4pm. There is also a Christmas Eve Mass at 7pm.
- The Parents Association are in during this week selling raffle tickets until Thursday for the Chocolate Santa at €1 per ticket. The Draw will be held on Thursday and a VIP will pull the ticket.
- St. Vincent de Paul Food Appeal takes place again this year. We have been contacted to ask people to donate non-perishable food items e.g. breakfast cereals/ pasta/ rice/selection boxes/tinned foods/baby formula etc. Please bring items to individual classes and these items will be collected from the classes and delivered to SVP.
- Congratulations to our 3rd Class girls who won the South-East Indoor Football competition last week. Our second GAA trophy this year!
- In conjunction with our Parents Association we will be distributing a photographic Newsletter this coming Thursday which records some of the many events and activities undertaken in 2012.
- Finally, may I take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone for their wonderful support as I approach the end of my first year as Principal. Merry Christmas to all.
