The Green Schools Committee would like to thank all the pupils, parents and staff for their help on Green Schools Day. We were greeted with a sea of green on Friday morning. The pupils made a special effort with their green clothes and this certainly added to the sense of occasion on the day. The junior side of the school planted seeds with the help of teachers, SNA’s and older pupils. They practiced their green code and were shown a power point presentation on the importance of the three R’s. The older children watched a DVD based on our anti litter campaign and also viewed a power point presentation based on litter and waste. Here are some photos from the day.
