Dear Parents,
As you are aware we have applied for our first Green Flag to show our commitment to environmental issues in Shanbally N.S. The theme of our environmental campaign is litter and waste. We are making a big effort to reduce , reuse , recycle in school. We are limiting the amount of rubbish going to landfill by recycling and composting in each class.
On Friday 10th of February the school is having a Green Day to promote our Green School Campaign. Children are asked to wear something green (if they have it) and they will have lessons and presentations based on caring for the environment.
