primarily regarding Spot Prizes for our upcoming events!!!
Dear Parents,
Welcome back and welcome to our very first newsletter this year from the Shanbally National School Parents Association J
The Parents Association plays a key role within the school. We are currently busily preparing for our upcoming events for another fun-filled fundraising year. The money raised each year goes directly back into the school and more importantly benefits each and every one of our children. Examples of which include our fantastic new Literacy Programme, School Tour funding and many more of the like.
In order to sustain this on going support to our school, we rely hugely on the generosity of each and every one of you. We require Spot Prizes for our up coming events, which include The School Bazaar held in November and our Table Quiz Night also held in November. All details of these and our many other upcoming events will be outlined in our next newsletter.
Items for the Spot Prizes can include Gift Vouchers, Hampers, Bottles of Wine, Boxes of Sweets and Chocolates and any other new gifts you can provide. We are aware that everyone is under strain in this difficult economic time but bare in mind that any gift, be it small or big is greatly appreciated.
Items can be given to any member of the Parents Association. Details of Committee Members are provided at the reverse of this letter.
The Parents Association is currently calling to all local businesses in and around the Carrigaline area seeking spot prizes & canvassing for fundraising in general. Should any parent have any contacts that they may be able to use we would be delighted with your help!!
